Media Training
McGarvie Morrison Media offers the highest level of bespoke media and presentation training from staff that are experienced former journalists and broadcasters. We know how today's media works and how key messages can be properly developed across newspapers, television, radio and on-line.
MMM is firmly established as Scotland's leading provider of media and presentation training. Don’t take our word for it. We thrive because of repeat business from satisfied clients and the recommendations they make to others.
The training team is led by MMM PR Director Charlie Mann, one of Scotland's leading public relations professionals. A trained journalist he has extensive experience of developing and directing high level communications campaigns for a range of organisations including: Diageo, BAE Systems, The Scotch Whisky Association and international IT company Atos. Charlie continues to work as one of the best-known freelance broadcasters in the country and is a member of the BBC Scotland football commentary team.
Charlie is supported by MMM Director Lindsay McGarvie, former Sunday Mail political editor and a previous winner of the Political Reporter of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards. Lindsay has carved out a reputation as one of the country’s leading PR figures, helping some of the biggest names in business – including Diageo and Lloyds Banking Group - protect and enhance their reputations.
MMM also employ some of the best camera operators in Britain to film and record interviews using top of the range digital equipment.
MMM's bespoke training programmes are built around realistic, yet challenging scenarios. Delegates are taught how to engage with all parts of the media, from local press to national radio and television as well as social media such as Facebook and Twitter. We show you how to promote positive stories and deal with potential problems. The emphasis is on personal development and confidence building through practical interviews and constructive feedback.
The MMM team can deliver training at our base in Glasgow, but equally we can provide sessions wherever you happen to be.
